Copy-and-pasting an image does not work after upgrade

I found copy and paste of images no longer works after the upgrade to this version (on Mac 10.11.16 El Capitan).

For example, I select an image in PDF opened in PDF Expert 2 and paste to Microsoft OneNote does not paste the image but prints some temporary pdf file path (an example below):

/var/folders/f2/2d7h5_8s4bqflv0b_s7cm9t80000gn/T/com.readdle.PDFExpert-Mac/.pdfExpertClipboard.pdf

I’d imagine this is actually a temporary PDF file generated for the image to be pasted but PDF Expert 2 does not paste the image but the path of it...

This was working before upgrading to the latest version.

Is this a bug? (must be) Any work around? (I hope) Please let me know.
